About the Guild

WHERE BEARCRAFTERS ASPIRE TO AND INSPIRE ARTISTRY.


Mission Statement: We aim to come together as colleagues to celebrate, promote and progress the concept of 'artist bear'.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA:
The Guild of Master Bearcrafters is available exclusively to BEAR CRAFTERS who have been designing and selling their own range of soft sculpture teddy bears or animals professionally for AT LEAST ONE YEAR. Members must be able to demonstrate a competent and artistic level of bear crafting ability.

Please note: When applying for Guild membership you will need to include a bear website/blog or photo gallery link showcasing at least ten of your latest designs - without this, memberships will automatically be declined.


MEMBERS: You are invited to share a maximum of 20 photographs of your bear designs. Please ensure your photographs are sized at 450 pixels wide and saved at 72dpi. For further details please see 'Guild Information' in the forum.

Dolls Too! Members are invited to upload up to 15 photographs of their doll designs.

Members are welcome to update photographs at any time, but please remember to delete old photographs to stay within your 20 photograph allowance if necessary. This way we can keep the work featured fresh and inspiring for everyone!

"I use Fedex Economy for large parcels. I think I pay somewhere around the £55 mark. Try www.interparcel.co.uk for a quote."

"Volumatic weight is silly as I don't see how you can get 43kg into the box I'm using unless its gold or lead! Shipping separately is a good idea but each box would be approx £120. That's if the item weights under 2KG so again…"

"Volumatic weight charges are the bane of my life. The only thing I would suggest is having to send them in smaller separate parcels. I can under stand why you don't want to do this but at least all your eggs are not in one basket so to speak.…"
